I made a death bed promise to my late wife that I would take care of her adult daughter since my late wife knew she would never make it on her own (Why?  That is another story!!)

So for 14 years, I have kept that promise and supported her.  Her part-time job barely keeps her economically alive for just incidentals, since I pay for her room and board.

Also, my late wife set up a relatively large  trust account for her and that generates about $15,000 each year in interest and dividend income (without affecting the principal assets).

So as anyone can see, she has it pretty good IMO.  But she is a fucking asshole and an unappreciative bitch!  She does nothing to help out around the house and contributes nothing to our family unit.  Each day it gets harder and harder for me to stand her.

I have a new girlfriend now, and my GF lives with me (us).  I gotta give my GF a lot of credit for putting up with my late wife's asshole daughter and not even giving me shit about it.

What should I do about this?  How can I kick her ass out of my life?

I am struggling to find a way to tell my BIL that his frequent "visits" to our home from Iowa is really pissing me off.  My wife is afraid to tell him straight-up since she is afraid of hurting his feelings and destroying their "family relationship".  Little does she know that she is destroying our relationship by not addressing this issue.

I wish he would follow the standard rules for houseguests:

1. Visits of once a year are appropriate (as opposed to the 4-5 times he comes each year).
2. Follow Ben Franklin's rule - "like fish, after 3 days, houseguests begin to stink" (as opposed to his standard 10 day stays).
3. Follow the rule that your stay should not cost your hosts any money.
• Pay for your own food.
• Pay for your use of utilities, especially elect during the summer.
• And take your sister to dinner once in a while (and not MacDonald's!!).
4. And don't yak and yak in my TV room when I got the game on!!

Do you think I am being unreasonable??

Why this blog?

I dunno.....just something to do.  And a way to vent my frustrations and create my thoughts due to the frustrations of daily life.  And the older I get, the crankier I get too.  So this blog is a way for me to vent.
